An Important Note

Hello,

 

On Tuesday morning Michigan Center School District Administration was made aware of a situation with a suspicious black, rusted truck that was being driven by a middle aged white male over the weekend. MC Administration confirmed later on Tuesday that on Sunday, the driver of the truck was reported to the Michigan State Police Department as trying to coax a young child into his truck near Cook’s Landing Rd. near Fatima.  The incident happened away from our campuses, but we wanted to make sure our parents of the district were aware of the situation.  If we hear of any additional information we will be sure to pass it along as soon as possible.  Please have a conversation with your child(ren) about being aware of their surroundings and to not approach anyone that they do not know.  Our District’s Administration and Transportation Department will continue to work together with our local law enforcement agencies to keep all of our students safe as they travel to and from school.
