I graduated from Michigan State University with my first Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. I then went on to obtain my second Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and English Language Arts. I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.

My wonderful husband, Scott, and I have been blessed with four beautiful children: Morgan (19), Savannah (15), Cameron (12), and John (10). We have two cats (Claire and Tucker) and a golden retriever puppy (Sadie).
Between volleyball, soccer, baseball, and hockey, we like to spend family time out at our land in Pleasant Lake. We have two ponds and a cabin that provide year-round fun: ice skating and fishing, swimming, camping, hunting, gardening, and exploring. We spend most of our summers at Silver Lake Sand Dunes and on Lake Michigan. We love to dune, boat, jet ski, tube, and just hang out together with friends and family on the beach.
I LOVE to read and, thanks to the third grade team and Mrs. Barnes, recently starting golfing again after too many years off of the course.
I have been a 4th grade teacher at Keicher Elementary for seven years and can't imagine working with a more wonderful group of parents, students, and staff!
