Danielle Trajnowski earned Honorable Mention in Jackson's Young Poets Contest for her poem titled "Lightening".
Not only was Danielle's work published in a book of poetry, but she also recited her poem in front of an auditorium full of spectators during an awards ceremony Monday night at Parkside Middle School.
Following the ceremony, Danielle met renowned poet Ken Nesbitt and received an autographed copy of one of his books!
